Yes it’s the 9th January and only now am I posting a “Happy New Year” photo. This is the joy of having children. With the very best of intentions to get things done it seems that lack of sleep and busy children prevail. Not complaining, it’s just life with small children and we wouldn’t have it any other way. That said, as I’m typing this Tiggy has firmly gripped my right thumb as she’s sat on my lap and her little arm is moving along with my hand as I type. Very sweet.
I’m not one for making new year’s resolutions, I find them pointless as again, with best intentions, life happens and gets in the way. I do however plan on making more time to write this little blog for Tiggy, for myself too, as know only too well having older children that time certainly does go by so quickly, although there are days it doesn’t feel that way with little ones. Plus, and I’ll blame it on baby brain, that over time I forget the funny things Tiggy’s brothers have said and sometimes even the little details that have made me smile at the time. So, and with the use of a newly acquired notepad to aid in remembering things, the return of Tiggy’s brothers to school and her youngest brother Wills having started nursery this week, I’m hoping to spend a couple hours each afternoon (Tiggy’s nap time allowing) to record her little world. Tiggy is 30 weeks old this week and I’ve no idea where the time has gone, it’s whooshed by in a blur of sleepless nights, busy days and fabulous family adventures all of which I don’t want to forget to tell her about when she’s older.
