After what seems like an eternity of rain yay we have some sunshine!! There’s nothing better than to get out for a walk in the fresh air and particularly more so at this time of year when the skies are a fabulous shade of blue, the sun sits low in the sky and casts wonderful shadows and the air feels crisp and clean.
It’s incredible to think that prior to having children so much of what’s right under your nose goes unnoticed. You get caught in the humdrum of daily life and forget to live the little things that the simplest of pleasures can be gained from.
After a long sleepless night with Tiggy, yes she’s still not sleeping unless she is literally snuggled into me, it’s hard to keep going but the sun shining seems to make all the difference, that and a large cup of coffee to start the day!
Once Tiggy’s brothers are all watered and fed and safely delivered to school Tiggy and I, weather permitting, head on out for a walk. It gives her time getting used to sleeping without being in direct contact with me and it gives me a chance to wake up and feel more alive having done some exercise.
It also gives me the chance to explore and discover places and simply take in the views. Places I hope Tiggy and I can visit together when she’s older so she can enjoy them too.
