Can I start by thanking the lovely people at Bloom & Wild for giving us the opportunity to review one of their products. I must add that in no way have I been paid for this review and the views and opinions expressed are entirely my own.
The blooms in this review are wonderfully called “The Megan” and these blooms were made for Tiggy and I. The bouquet contains roses which is one of Tiggy’s middle names and incidentally my name is Megan. These fabulously named blooms (if I do say so myself) are a limited edition bouquet of vintage pink carnations, blueberry roses and soft alstroemeria. It’s velvety petals paired with ruffled ones too, it’s ombre hue of carnations and delicate alstroemeria are a riot of textures and colours and are absolutely gorgeous, definitely worthy of an Instagram picture or two! But be quick if like me you are to order as “The Megan” is only available online until Friday 8th April at 5pm. You can purchase by clicking here Bloom and Wild Flower Delivery.
When I first imagined flowers through my letterbox I pictured them to be mediocre having been in transit in a box and possibly even a little worse for wear, squashed even. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The packaging is fabulous! The brown outer box with lovely writing is smart. You wouldn’t be ashamed of having this package left by your front door should you not have a letterbox.
Then of course to the contents. When you open the box the bundle of blooms are neatly enclosed within a charming spotted cellophane and are carefully bound with a pretty ribbon. Each stem is individually “snuggled” into it’s own little netted packaging carefully protecting it and as you easily slide the stem from the netting each petal is perfect, no damage, not squashed at all. Each little petal, bud and leaf all intact and looking absolutely delightful.
The attention to detail is quite obvious, even the lovely personalised little card to say thank you for the purchase is thoughtful. And it’s all in the detail for me, even down to the little card entitled “Discover Your Blooms” which details the flowers included and should like me you need help in the arrangement to ensure your blooms are presented absolutely perfectly, the kind people at Bloom & Wild even help you style your blooms by enclosing instructions of best positioning. Perfect.
All that’s left to do is sit back and enjoy your beautiful blooms and if you’re a fan of social media to take pictures and share them with the world #LetterboxFlowers and @bloomandwild.
