In this modern age in which we live and convenience being an essential part of everyday life, shopping online and deliveries direct to your door are common place. But what about snacks? Snacks customized to your tastes and delivered through your letterbox. I’d not thought about it until we discovered Graze when the kind people there generously gave us a box to try. I should mention that despite being gifted the box the opinions expressed in this post are entirely my own.
We started with Graze’s website and looked through a list of snacks selecting whether we’d like, like to try or “bin” an item as in we didn’t like, and based on the options selected a box was hand picked and put together for us. In our box it’s quite telling we’ve a sweet tooth as our box contained three sweet items and only one savoury but that truly reflects our selection process as we do love the sweet stuff here.
I was conscious going through this process (which took just a few moments) that a lot of their sweeter options were being selected but tailored to the questions asked, whether we had allergies, were we vegetarian for example and the box type selected from the options; variety, light or protein, it was a given that our box was going to consist of mostly cake. In fact Tiggy’s daddy was surprised given I had completed this process that there were only three out of four sweet snacks! Oh the cheek!
Our box arrived when Graze said it would and did in fact fit through our letterbox. Our snacks included a chocolate brownie, honeycomb flapjack, summer berry flapjack and Brooklyn bites which consisted of cashew nuts and pretzels which are coincidentally my favourite savoury snacks. Before I opened the inner packaging this box was already a hit!
The packaging is neat and quite “funky” (I’m sure that word gives away my age and is probably very uncool) and it took all of a few moments for Tiggy to work out how to open it and get her hands on the goodies inside.
On to the contents and YUM! that pretty much sums it up. We took our box with us on a trip to the beach this morning after dropping Tiggy’s two eldest brothers to school. We picked up a coffee and some juice from the beachside café, sat on the beach and opened the box.
The brownie was delicious. It was sliced into three convenient mouthfuls of which I had one, Tiggy demolished the second and her brother Wills practically inhaled the third and asked immediately for more. I saved the rest of the box to try later as Tiggy too young to eat the flapjack’s, nuts and pretzels, and Wills was distracted wanting to play in the sand and jump the small waves of the sea hitting the beach.
The flapjacks were a great after school treat for Tiggy’s older brothers who always come home from school hungry despite telling me they ate all their lunch, and the savoury snack went down well this evening with a little glass of bubbly once Tiggy and her brothers had gone to bed.
Based on our experience we would most certainly order from Graze as they have a wide selection of snacks to try and I sometimes find in the routine of a supermarket shop with small children in tow, I very much want to get in, pick up what I need and get out so don’t really deviate from what I know we like, or look for items to try. The convenience alone with Graze is a winner.
If you fancy giving Graze a try you can have your first box FREE by entering this code 52R2M6RYE when placing your order and if you choose to continue to order you’ll also get your 5th and 10th box free too.
