I have never before bought or had a succulent so when the lovely people at Bloom & Wild offered me some, I of course said yes please.
The box as usual with Bloom & Wild was delivered through my letterbox and immediately I knew something was different as this box was slightly smaller than their usual ones containing blooms. I rushed to open the box, despite heading out with Tiggy and her brothers at the time, I stopped and turned around as didn’t want to leave whatever was in the box sat in it’s packaging until I returned home and I am SO glad I stopped to open it.
The succulents were striking, so perfectly beautiful in fact that Tiggy’s older brothers asked if they were real because they were so perfect. “Pretty” is an understatement. So delicate in nature, the shapes and patterns are divine and the little tray they come in complete with reindeer moss (try explaining that to little ones! “No sweetie it’s not Christmas” “yes I know it looks like a present but it’s still not Christmas”) is just beautiful.
The fab people at Bloom & Wild even included a gorgeous little silver “mister” to fill with water and lightly mist the succulents once a week. I am ever grateful to the thoughtfulness of the people at Bloom & Wild as within the box as there always is, was a little care note, this one entitled “How To Care For Your Succulent Trio” which given I’ve not had these before was much appreciated because as much as I’d love to be “green fingered” I simply am not.
The Jamie as this “Succulent Trio” is called, makes for a wonderful alternative to blooms if you’re looking for something a little different, and if you are looking to treat someone and want to create a WOW reaction you won’t go far wrong with The Jamie. You can order them now from Bloom & Wild Flower Delivery. Tiggy of course always loves when Bloom & Wild boxes arrive and she too must have been impressed as these were the first from Bloom & Wild that she hasn’t tried to eat. She like her brothers though was most intrigued by the reindeer moss……
