Last Friday saw Tiggy enjoy an afternoon tea at The Corran with her little friend and of course us Mummy’s and her friend’s big sister’s tagged along too.
With Tiggy having three big brothers it’s rather nice to spend some “girly time” with Tiggy and we had a fabulous time.
The room in which we ate our afternoon tea overlooks The Corran’s garden which given it was a beautiful day, the doors were open and the girls were able to come in and out as they pleased. Tiggy and her friend a little small yet but big sisters enjoyed running and exploring in the garden and with their help Tiggy and her friend did too.
Afternoon tea was served and it looked so pretty although not for long as it was quickly polished off by us girls! Absolutely scrumptious is how I’d describe it. Tiggy has her mother’s tastes that’s for sure and cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon and cream cheese were clear favourites of Tiggy’s as were the strawberries and cream scones.
There was something for everyone with mouth wateringly tasty cheese quiches, macaroons, ham sandwiches and an assortment of gorgeous cakes accompanied by pots of tea and coffee for us Mum’s, fruit squashes for the girls and even a glass or two of prosecco for us older girls. Perfect!
We ate inside then took our coffees outside so the girls could play some more and enjoy the sunshine but not before Tiggy and her beautiful little friend took centre stage playing and exploring and chasing after some balloons that another group of girls had brought to their birthday party afternoon tea.
We had a most wonderful “girly” afternoon and if this day was anything to go by, I’m certainly looking forward to many more “girly days” and afternoon teas with Tiggy at The Corran. It was such a lovely afternoon in the most beautiful of settings.
