We teamed up with JORD wooden watches in September last year and wrote a post entitled Family Time and told you all about the wooden watch they so kindly gifted to me and you can read all about that HERE.
What that post didn’t tell you was that my husband (Tiggy’s daddy) had “a bit of an incident” with my watch and some super glue! Thankfully the wonderful people at JORD saw the funny side (it took me a while!) and they very kindly sent a replacement for me and so it came as quite some surprise when they asked if they could send my husband a wooden watch! He of course said yes please amidst my “are you serious?” and “yes I’ll keep him away from the super glue!” and they sent him a super nice wooden watch made from Koa & Ash from their Frankie Series and it’s really rather lovely, so much so that I’ve worn it a couple times too!
As the name of this post suggests, “quality time”, and that it certainly what this watch is and certainly what we as a family are about.
We love to spend time outdoors together, exploring our surroundings and enjoying each other’s company. My hubby and I spent some time together in Venice last November and it was just the quality time we needed, just the two of us together.
Since then we’ve been busy with a house move and of course Christmas and you can read all about that in the December blog post or by clicking HERE. So we figured we could do with some quality time as a family and spent last week at a place called Bluestone in Wales. I’ll skip the bit about how the week didn’t quite turn out as planned and will tell you all about it in the January round up post to follow, but despite not quite the week we’d hoped for we did enjoy some quality time together as a family, and I can’t stress how much we enjoy these times together.
