A Bank Holiday weekend, blue skies and a day at home planned so we decided on the Sunday to open up our Trunkaroo Bubble Science activity kit.
It was sent to us weeks ago so firstly I must thank Trunkaroo for bearing with us, it’s been an incredibly busy time and Tiggy’s brothers have wanted to open this kit from the moment it arrived.
So this weekend we finally opened the box and the excitement of the children here was just brilliant. They couldn’t wait to open it and enjoy it and together we truly did.
The kit comes with everything you need to make your own bubbles, not just the bubble mixture and pots of bubbles but various items to make your own bubble wands and this the boys here particularly enjoyed. Finlay, Tiggy’s eldest brother was keen to make his wands up as he went, William was happy just to play with the straws until they by chance happened to form a shape and Reuben was adamant we were making the pyramid wand as per the instructions and there were more than enough items within the box to satisfy all three.
Tiggy was happy to simply dip her hands in the bubble mixture and play with the bubbles as they were blown by her brothers.
The kit also contained items to make “bubble pictures” and Tiggy being a little too small, her brother Reuben was only too happy to oblige in trying this activity out.
In short, this particular kit was superb. It kept the children entertained for quite some time and gave us some quality time together, there was a lot of laughter and wonder at how awesome the bubbles were and we learned something new, so long as your hands are wet you can hold bubbles.
We chose the bubble kit from the range that Trunkaroo offer as for my own ease I bath the children together of an evening and each evening the boys try out do each other as to how many and how big a bubble they can blow in the bath with Tiggy squealing in delight as she tries to catch and pop them so I knew this kit was going to be a success but it really was even better than I’d imagined with several activities within the box, full instructions given and lots of additional fun with jokes, colouring crayons to draw once you’ve created your bubble picture and even thoughtfully a messy mat to keep the area clean.
I highly recommend Trunkaroo, a brilliant concept that works well to promote learning, fun and rewarding family time.
This kit was kindly gifted to us to try out and given the amount of fun we had I’d like to offer a huge heartfelt thank you to Trunkaroo for the opportunity to do so xoxo.
