June and another wonderful month that just seemed to go by in a blink of an eye, I think mainly because it’s been a busy month, not least because it’s the month that Tiggy turned two! I’m only going to include a few pictures in this post as I’ve still yet to sift through all the photographs that were taken over her birthday weekend and will do a separate blog post shortly on just her birthday but what a birthday weekend she had! The weather was absolutely amazing and perfect for the garden party we had planned for her.
In fact the beginning of this month saw some beautiful weather and so we explored. First stop a castle where little Tiggy raced about after her brothers exploring every inch of the castle.
Behind the castle was a mill where we stopped for an ice cream and Tiggy’s daddy tried teaching her brothers how to “skim stones” and of course little Tiggy had to throw some in too.
We ventured inside the Mill and managed to capture on camera some swallows that were flying in and out.
We also discovered a manor house so went to have a little look and Tiggy loved racing about the walled garden there.
We returned to a favourite place of ours that we discovered last year Hilton Court which we blogged about at the time and if you click on the link you’ll see Tiggy there a year ago and see just how much she’s grown over this past year. It’s beautiful here and I’m looking forward to many more trips here over the summer months once her brothers break from school.
Tiggy and I had a “flying visit” to London to collaborate with BabyMORI, a firm favourite of ours and we called into Bath on our way home too.
We explored a second castle and Tiggy found her way right to the top where there were some beautiful views although she gave me heart failure looking over the wall!
We’ve enjoyed a lot of time enjoying our garden here at home in the sunshine where Tiggy has played football with her brothers, climbed all over the play frame and swam in the pool…
The day after her birthday Tiggy and I enjoyed a girly day beside the pool whilst her brothers were at school and after the busy weekend that her birthday had been it was lovely to enjoy some quiet time just us girls.
Tiggy’s brothers had their school sports day and Tiggy enjoyed cheering them on and afterwards we headed to the beach for some family time and had the absolute pleasure of meeting up with a favourite Instagram family of mine, “Florence and the Fox” where we played on the beach and enjoyed fish and chips before realising it was getting quite late as we’d had so much fun.
I also took the opportunity to take a few pictures with Tiggy this month, me and my girl as she turns two…
June, you were truly scrumptious! xoxo
