Ever wondered what your little one looks like in here? Inside you as they’re developing and growing?
Yes there are scans and nothing is more reassuring than seeing the black and white image on the screen to know that they’re ok. It’s a HUGE peace of mind.
But what are your thoughts on 4D scans? We had a “Gender Scan” at 16 weeks as we’ve Tiggy and 3 older boys and wanted to know what we were having this time around, just as we did with Tiggy. We know we’re having a girl so that surprise has gone and my husband’s concerns regarding a 4D scan was that we’d also see what she looked like and so there would be no surprises left when she is born.
I on the other hand have always wanted a 4D scan and have never had one until at the Gender Scan they enclosed within our envelope a 4D picture and it was just as I had thought, an orange looking “blob” without much in the way of detail but that could have been down to the position of the baby at the time.
Ever curious though and hearing that you could now have a 4D HD live scan, curiosity getting the better of me, and this being our very last pregnancy so I won’t get another chance, I booked one and WOW!!
We booked with Window To The Womb and my overall verdict? simply WOW! No “orange blobs” just incredibly clear images as if we were looking at her in person. The 4D HD live is amazing, the detail, the clarity, it helped that baby was in a fabulous position and the first time we saw her she had her foot firstly near her eye then in her mouth!
The service was exceptional, the girls at the clinic just lovely and being child friendly they even accommodated Tiggy and her brothers with a play area to keep them entertained whilst we waited and then of course they came into the scan room with us so that they too could meet their little sister.
Ironically it’s my husband who came away feeling most pleased, I guess for him not feeling her inside him, the movements and kicks, it was especially special and helps him to see how real it all is too. So if you’ve any hankering to have a 4D can then I’d highly recommend both the 4D HD live and Window To The Womb xoxo.
