I’ll start this post by sharing some of my favourite pictures from September…
For details of Tiggy’s outfit in the above pictures click here: Camp JoJo.
The beginning of this month we spent in Cyprus and you can see more about that by clicking HERE but these are some of my fave pics from our trip.
Tiggy’s brothers returned to school and so it was just little Tiggy and I which has been both wonderful and emotional as this is the last month whereby it’ll be just her and I before her little sister arrives in October.
Tiggy as always has filled the month with a lot of love and laughter and whilst we’ve not ventured too far thanks to yet more rain and my being so heavily pregnant now, we’ve made the most of the days we’ve had and made the most of playing in our garden, especially so was the occasion where Tiggy discovered there were cows in the field behind us! Being “animal mad” her excitement was wonderful to watch.
One such evening in the garden and wanting to capture as many photographs of this pregnancy as possible we ventured into our woodland here wearing pretty dresses and wellies (truly taking a leaf out of Tiggy’s book) and Tiggy’s brother Finlay was roped into taking a few pictures for me. Bless him he even stopped playing his beloved football for a few minutes (it must be love!) and took endless pictures, most blurry and out of focus, but there were a few he took that were just perfect.
Tiggy’s speech has been gaining all the time and this month I’ve caught her singing nursery rhymes which has been the absolute sweetest.
We took a trip to see a lighthouse…
…where Tiggy insisted on jumping in every puddle there and back!
Tiggy’s clothing in the above pictures comes from JoJo Maman Bebe and you can see all the details here: Camp JoJo.
Tiggy also loves to dress herself and wanting so much to be just like her big brothers she raced out of the door one morning just as the boys did, collecting their school books and back packs only in her rush she clean forgot to stop still long enough to pop her dress on. She does make us laugh!
Tiggy’s also began to be able to “tell tales” this month too. She sees her brothers do it and copies by running to tell me what they’re doing in broken sentences but I can make out the gist of it and once she’s satisfied I’ve understood her she races off back to her brothers.
Our days just her and I whilst her brothers are in school are numbered now as we await the arrival of her new sister shortly, so I’m hoping to make the absolute most of these days with her but know given her nature and wonderful little character that she’s going to adjust to life as a big sister in no time.
Tiggy’s a whirlwind, granted, but has the sweetest nature and is often to be found giving her brothers a squeeze with a look of pure adoration for them and asking me for endless hugs. I feel truly blessed to be her mummy and spend ages just looking at her thinking how lucky I am xoxo
