You’ll know if you’re an avid follower of this little blog that once in a while I post A Few Of Our Favourite Things and for issue number 6, it’s all about the item’s I’m looking forward to using when “our little pip” enters the world very soon. So as not to pop too many items into one post, here are the first few items I’m adoring and can’t wait to use…
Changing Bag from Storksak
I have always plumped for sticking with my handbag and popping the essentials needed into it as have yet to find a changing bag that I would genuinely use in place of my hand bag. When Storksak got in touch and I sneaked a peek at their website which you can see by clicking here: STORKSAK I was sold! “Count me in” and a HUGE “yes please” from me was my reply, and when the bag arrived I was more than impressed and delighted! It’s gorgeous! Very smart, incredibly practical with numerous internal and external pockets which is ideal as that’s what my hand bag doesn’t have, and these are super handy when you’ve quite some kit to carry about. I chose the Emma bag and so pleased am I with it that I’ve already begun using it for Tiggy.
Birthday Letters To My Baby Book by Emily Rollings
It’s a running joke with anyone that knows me that as each child has come along not only have I been more relaxed and at ease but I’ve also become more useless at remembering specific events, milestones and the like. This is primarily why I set up this blog for Tiggy because when someone would ask for example “How old was William when he began walking?” or “At what age did Reuben cut his first tooth?” I genuinely couldn’t remember and would answer with the words “at roughly (so many) months old”. Awful I know. So to the running joke…With Finlay, our first I bought a baby book whilst pregnant and recorded my wishes, feelings, measurements even, hopes and dreams for him. With Reuben I bought the book and wrote the first date in there and how many weeks pregnant I was. With William I didn’t even buy the book! Time gets less I guess as life becomes busier. So when Emily Rollings asked if I’d be interested in a Letters To My Baby Book the answer was very much a “yes please”. In fact Emily included two so I’m going to sit at some point and work backwards as it were to record the pages for little Tiggy too. The books are delightful and most elegant and I know will become treasured keepsakes. I can’t wait to fill the pages for my girls! To see more click on this link: EMILY ROLLINGS.
SnuzPod from Snuz
I’ve not had one of these before despite expecting baby number 5 and I’ve heard nothing but great reviews and a very dear friend of mine who is a midwife has been telling me all throughout this pregnancy that “you simply must buy one of these!” When Snuz invited me to give their SnuzPod a try it was an outright “I’d love to” given the reviews I’ve heard and whilst I haven’t used it yet as our little one hasn’t yet arrived, it’s next to our bed ready and Tiggy has of course “road tested” it exclaiming that “it’s not pips bed, it’s Tiggy’s bed!” so she’s clearly already a fan. I’ll pop a separate review blog post on here once I have chance to use it properly which I hope will be very soon! In the meantime for further details click here: SNUZ.
And Finally for this blog post, Milestone Cards from Hello Fern Australia
These I can’t wait to use, starting of course with “Today I Was Born” as we are all here eagerly awaiting the arrival of Tiggy’s little sister. If you go back through our Instagram you’ll see I made numbers covered in glitter tape for Tiggy for each month until she was one and whilst I enjoyed doing that they weren’t picture perfect and I had wished I’d bought milestone cards but once I’d started with the numbers it seemed wrong to stop so these are going to look super sweet in pictures as our new little one hits each milestone. For more details of where I purchased click here: HELLO FERN AUSTRALIA.
I hope you find these little blog posts of some use and enjoy as we go, discovering new products and giving them a whirl, or in the case of some of the above at least, having chance to look at them properly before recommending them or suggesting them to you xoxo.
