We’ve collaborated with Disney a few times now, something I’m immensely proud of and having missed their Halloween celebrations on October 26th as our little Pip was due on the 25th you can imagine my excitement to be invited to their Christmas #GiftMagic event on November 13th in London.
Pip was born on October 22nd so at just 3 weeks old I couldn’t possibly leave her and the lovely people at The Disney Store who were hosting the event were more than understanding and told me to bring her along, so that’s what we did. We set off early in the morning of the 13th to be at Claridge’s in London for 8am ready for breakfast, yes breakfast with The Disney Store at Claridge’s! I can’t tell you how excited I was and the 2am start and 5 hour car journey were absolutely worth it as our morning was out of this world amazing!
Claridge’s itself was decorated for Christmas, the building utterly gorgeous and we were greeted by a member of staff and shown to a room full of Disney #GiftMagic! The large table in the centre of the room was decorated exquisitely and adorned with little trees which held beautiful Disney character ornaments. There was a gift box and a plush soft toy Minnie or Mickey Mouse alternating at each seat placement and the table set for breakfast.
There was a large screen displaying plenty of Disney magic at one end of the room and around the table were more fabulous Disney #GiftMagic items for Christmas. It truly was a wonderful scene that greeted us as we entered the room.
We were greeted by, met and spoke with a number of lovely people from the Disney team, an absolute pleasure and privilege to meet and then all took our places at the table for breakfast. True to form little Pip awoke the moment I sat down and so too was very much a part of breakfast at Claridge’s at just 22 days old!
There was plenty to talk about including the new Disney Party range, I met lots more lovely people and enjoyed my breakfast although must confess that not being a red meat eater I was fortunate to be sitting next to a gentleman who was and so I traded him my bacon and sausage for his mushroom and tomato which together with my scrambled eggs was absolutely delicious! I think he was rather pleased too!
After breakfast we were gifted another larger gift box from Disney and shortly after we were to head to The Disney Store on Oxford Street where we were incredibly gifted further and met the delightful Mickey and Minnie Mouse who made a huge fuss of little Pip.
I finished up my Christmas shopping which took quite some time as there were so many wonderful things to choose from, and we even watched with The Disney Store staff as the store was opened to the general public in a most magical way. Once all ready I thanked the lovely people at The Disney Store for their hospitality, said my goodbyes and headed back to my car laden with lots of wonderful Disney #GiftMagic.
