Ewan The Dream Sheep is no ordinary sheep or cuddly toy which at first blush he looks. Oh no, not Ewan, as we’ve been finding out…
I’ve seen Ewan, as I’ll fondly call him for the rest of this post, in many stores but hadn’t appreciated just how wonderful Ewan is perhaps believing him to be a soft toy like any other and frankly we’ve enough soft toys here collected over the years between Tiggy and her brothers so ignorantly perhaps, I’d simply not taken a proper look until now.
We were kindly contacted by the team behind Ewan asking if we’d like to introduce our very own Ewan to Tiggy and her new little sister Pip and was surprised to learn that Ewan is no ordinary sheep as I say.
I can best describe Ewan as a little sleep companion, not only for cuddling as he is super soft but he mimics noises from the womb to help soothe very little ones off to sleep reminding them of the safety and comfort of where they first began, such comfort for a newborn who having spent nine months so close to mum may find themselves in need of some reassurance and Ewan does just that. He even emits a soft warm red glow similar to that your newborn will have experienced in the womb.
Ewan isn’t just for newborns though as he can “grow with them” and for older children he can play nursery rhymes and help soothe them off to sleep or should they wake during the night help settle them back to sleep.
Ewan is also a clever little sheep in that he has a timer so that he can switch himself off after 20 minutes so no having to tip toe in to your little one’s room to turn him off thereby avoiding stepping on toys or creaky floorboards that seems to happen in our household inevitably waking the little one back up! Ewan can be secured by his adorable tail to the cot for example so that you know your very little one is safe and he’s battery operated so no cables to consider or worry about either.
Above and beyond everything Ewan The Dream Sheep is a lovely addition to your armoury as a parent to help settle your little one whether they’re very little or a little older. He soothes, is reassuring, a companion, and he’s adorable to boot. Tiggy’s reaction when she saw him was “wow sheeps!!” with a huge smile and as loving as she is to her little sister she was most reluctant to hand over Ewan the Dream Sheep to her, clearly a big hit with little Tiggy who hasn’t parted with him since he arrived here!
To purchase yours there are plenty of stockists and I’ll direct you to the home of Ewan to find one, simply click on this link: Ewan The Dream Sheep xoxo.
